Stowe Area town: Eden, Vermont
Eden is well, Eden. Though much more rugged than its biblical namesake, Eden, VT typifies towns in the Stowe Area. It is beautiful, rural, and mountainous (several peaks over 2,000 feet). It shares many of Stowe’s qualities and not as many of Stowe’s price tags. Eden is a great value in Vermont Real Estate.
Eden was originally chartered to a group of Green Mountain Boys who were veterans of the American Revolution in the hopes that it would be a postwar "Eden" to them. Today it is still a rural haven to many.
